Looking for Early PFD Volunteers
The Pedernales Fire Department will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024 and wants to recognize all who have served since 1974.
For many years, volunteers filled the roles of firefighters, EMTs, and all the jobs required for fire and medical rescue. The PFD wants to reach out to the volunteers who served and is searching for contact information so that they can be invited to participate in the celebration.
Working only from a few rosters with landline numbers and with the help of volunteers who are still local, the going is slow. The search team needs your help!
If you were a volunteer, please take a few moments to check that the PFD has your current contact information by calling us (below). Please let us know if you know of other volunteers and have their current contact information, or if they are deceased.
