We are overjoyed to announce that the PFD Auxiliary has achieved its 2024 fundraising goal, thanks to the overwhelming support from the communities served by Stations #801, #802, and #803! 🙌🚒
💰 Your generosity has resulted in $105,000 raised through our annual Spring Crawfish Boil 🦞, Fall BBQ & Silent Auction 🍖, and direct donations. This vital funding will directly enhance the training and capabilities of our fire stations. 🚒🔥
Your contributions are making a real difference:
🔹 Advanced Training with SimBodies: $34,000 has been invested in a SimBodies Trauma Car/EMS Manikin, enabling lifelike emergency simulations 🏥🚑.
🔹 Enhanced Medical Capabilities: $6,700 towards GlideScopes will improve airway management during critical medical situations 💉👨⚕️.
🔹 Supporting Our Heroes’ Well-being: $10,000 will fund mental health services for first responders and their families ❤️🧠.
🔹 Equipping for Success: $54,000 has been allocated for essential training bunker gear, ensuring our firefighters are prepared for any challenge 🔥🦺.
