Each year, the Pedernales Fire Department provides the PFD Auxiliary with a list of equipment and services that exceed the current budget. The PFD Auxiliary informs the community about these objectives and communicates how individuals can contribute to their achievement.
Two annual fundraising eventsāthe Crawfish and Shrimp Boil and the Firehouse Feastāare made possible through the generous support of local businesses and individuals. These sponsors enable the PFDA to organize events that foster engagement between community members and first responders, offering firsthand insights into the purpose and impact of the fundraising efforts.
In addition to these gatherings, the PFDA distributes mailers containing contribution envelopes and maintains an active presence on social media to share additional avenues for donation.
The Pedernales Fire Department community consistently demonstrates remarkable generosity and commitment.
In 2025, the Crawfish and Shrimp Boil generated over $10,000, while the Firehouse Feast raised in excess of $16,000. Combined with contributions received through mailers and online applications, we are now halfway toward achieving the 2025/2026 fundraising goals.
We express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and generosity.
