šŸŽÆ FUNDRAISING GOALS 2025/2026
Donate to support the Pedernales Fire Department
Halfway to our 2025/2026 fundraising goal of $78,000!
50% of goal reached

Each year, the Pedernales Fire Department provides the PFD Auxiliary with a list of equipment and services that exceed the current budget. The PFD Auxiliary informs the community about these objectives and communicates how individuals can contribute to their achievement.

Two annual fundraising events—the Crawfish and Shrimp Boil and the Firehouse Feast—are made possible through the generous support of local businesses and individuals. These sponsors enable the PFDA to organize events that foster engagement between community members and first responders, offering firsthand insights into the purpose and impact of the fundraising efforts.

In addition to these gatherings, the PFDA distributes mailers containing contribution envelopes and maintains an active presence on social media to share additional avenues for donation.

The Pedernales Fire Department community consistently demonstrates remarkable generosity and commitment.

In 2025, the Crawfish and Shrimp Boil generated over $10,000, while the Firehouse Feast raised in excess of $16,000. Combined with contributions received through mailers and online applications, we are now halfway toward achieving the 2025/2026 fundraising goals.

We express our sincere gratitude for your continued support and generosity.

šŸ”„ FIRE CHIEF TONY HADEN DESCRIBES THE GOALS FOR 2025-2026

🧠 Investing in Mental Health Support

  • We’re raising funds to provide confidential mental health services for our team and their families. Your donation helps ensure our responders can cope with the stress and trauma they face—and stay strong for the community.

šŸ“” Strengthening Emergency Communication

  • Donations will help us purchase additional updated handheld radios that keep our team connected during emergencies, no matter where help is needed across the region.

ā›‘ļø Enhancing Life-Saving Medical Tools and Training

  • Your support will provide our emergency medical responders with advanced tools and specialized training. This means better outcomes for patients when every second counts.

šŸ› ļø Building Better Training for Everyday and Crisis Skills

  • Funds will go toward practical, hands-on training props that help us prepare for real-world emergencies and ensure our new team members are ready to serve with excellence from day one.
  • This year we are raising money specifically for props that can be used to train crews, and assist with public outreach!

šŸ’Ŗ Promoting Health and Resilience for First Responders

  • Physical fitness is a cornerstone of responder readiness. Donations will help us add new stair climbers at each station—supporting the daily fitness needs of our team.
